Module 3: Establish & Maintain Agreements

The success of every coaching or consulting engagement starts with powerful agreements. Failure to set the proper expectations wreaks havoc and risks your reputation.

Learn how to define clear objectives, set boundaries, and ensure alignment—so every engagement is set up for success. And you build a reputation of distinction.

Modules 4—6: Becoming A Powerful Coach

Trust, presence, and deep listening are the foundation of elite coaching and consulting. Learn to create a safe, open space where clients feel empowered to explore and commit to change.

Master the art of staying fully present and actively listening—helping clients feel truly heard while uncovering the deeper drivers behind their challenges and scenarios.

Modules 7—8: Facilitating Transformation & Growth

Transformation begins with trust, presence, and deep listening. Creating space allows clients to explore their challenges honestly, break through limitations, and commit to meaningful change.

Facilitating lasting change requires staying fully present and listening beyond words. Master emotional presence and active listening to uncover the deeper patterns and  drive transformation.

Modules 9—10: Tools For Consulting

Master the intersection of coaching and consulting. Learn how to blend coaching skills with strategic advisory techniques, ensuring you deliver maximum value in every engagement.

Timeline & Requirements

  • Duration: 12 weeks
  • Activities: Weekly 2-hr live virtual sessions with seasoned experts & 1 hr live virtual practice sessions with your colleagues.
  • Coursework: On-demand videos, resources, and readings.

Certification Requirements:

    • Completion of all digital modules and attendance at virtual group sessions and practice sessions.
    • Supervised coaching/consulting sessions and a written exam.
    • Completion of 50 hours of coaching, consulting practice.

What is a coach-consultant?

A coach-consultant is someone who leverages the discipline of coaching with the strategic thrust of consulting. Why does this matter? Because in practice you need both skills to more effectively help your clients. Being “just a coach” limits your reach and earning potential. Being “just a consultant,” limits your effectiveness with the people you are leading.

How is this program different?

There are three ways this program is different from traditional coaching certification programs:

Is this like ICF Certification?

Yes and no. No in that we are not associated with ICF by choice – the costs and benefits didn’t make sense. Yes, in that you’ll learn similar core coaching competencies taught in ICF certification programs. Additionally, the Well-Defined Certification goes beyond traditional ICF competencies. You’ll learn what it means (and what it takes) to be well-defined person, leader, coach, and consultant. This includes the soft skills and competencies to be an effective coach, the strategic skills to be a consultant, and the sales and marketing skills to grow a profitable practice.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. Upon completion of the course you will get a personalized certificate with your name, as well as a certification badge you can use on your website, social media, marketing materials, and email signature.

Is 12-weeks enough time to learn?
